Geography

Geography is an interdisciplinary subject that can be a physical science or a social science. Geography includes the study of people, places and Earth's systems. Human geographers study culture, economics, and the way people interact with the environment. Physical geographers study landforms, the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, and even the biosphere through a spatial lens. Subdisciplines of geography include: urban development, human geography, physical geography, biogeography, geomorphology, and Geospatial Information Systems.

Our geography program offers environmental science for transfer (AS-T) degrees, math and science associate's degrees and certificates.
